Warranty Information  

Repair / Replace
* All products purchased from PC Madness are covered by 12 months Return to
   Base warranty. (Our Service Centre is in Central Midland.)
* All warranty claims must be accompanied with the correct invoice
* Any faulty component will be sent to our supplier's, please allow 20-30 working
   days. (In rare cases this may take longer, we will keep you informed.)
* Freight and handling for goods are to be covered solely by the purchaser
   without exemption
* PC Madness will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to property,
   loss of income or earnings by, or by complications or costs arising from a failure
   of any of our products.

Refund / Store Credit
* You are entitled to a refund if the product you received is different to what is
   on your invoice. (We must be notified within 7 days from invoice date.)
* A refund may be done if the product that is faulty can not be repaired or
   replaced. Funds returned will be of current market value.
* Any other refund or store credit is at management's discretion. All returns
   require the full packaging, CD's and any other accessories exactly as you
   received it.
* A minimum 15% restocking fee may apply.

Warranty Exclusion
* In order to claim warranty on products bought from PC Madness , you will need to ensure that you have a copy of your invoice. Fees and charges will apply if you meet any of the below criteria:
* Physical damage, Power outages
* Damage caused by natural disasters,
* Viruses & Spyware, Software related issues,
* Physical damage, Power outages
* Damage caused by natural disasters,
* Viruses & Spyware, Software related issues,
* Hardware/software/driver installation/ PC upgrades.
* Any product that has not been installed in accordance with the installation
   instruction supplied by the equipment manufacturer.
* Any product that is repaired or altered by anyone other than an authorized PC
   Madness service centre, where products disassembled or repaired in such a
   manner that performance is affected.
* Any product that fails or is damaged as a result of improper storage, operation
   under abnormal conditions misuse, neglect, abuse, accident, of consumer
   controls. Short circuiting the equipment will be considered misuse and will cause
   the product not to be covered by the warranty.
* Any defect or damage caused by or resulting from the connection or
   attachment to the product that has not been approved by the manufacturer
   for connection or attachment to the product.
* Any defect or damage caused by or resulting from improper installation or
   defective functioning of software or virus infection.
* Defects or damage due to spills of liquid or other substances (dust, cigarette),
   excessive temperature or humidity and environmental conditions.
* Aesthetic or surface damage or scratches to all plastic surfaces and other
   external parts damaged due to normal customer use.
* Any cost of hardware or software removal or reinstallation.
* Any product or part thereof which has suffered through alteration or
   defacement of the serial number or warranty seals as such where an
   unauthorized service personnel opening the product .
* CD and DVD Media are not covered under warranty.
* Dead pixel warranty on LCD displays varies, and it is taken up with the
   manufacturer.

Service Not Covered Under Warranty
* Virus removal, support of 3rd party software, support of any hardware not
   purchased from us.
* If you purchased all parts and assembled them yourself and require
   troubleshooting to find a faulty component a minimum $55 labour fee will be
   charged.
* Third party software or firmware updates that are required to resolve conflicts
   or malfunctioning devices. Download or installation of such updates are responsibility
   of the customer and any such troubleshooting done by PC Madness will be charged
   at the standard rate of $55 an hour.
